Marking Scheme: 10% online quizzes, 10% iClicker participation, 20% Midterm x2, 40% Exam
A course in astronomy without all the painful math. Quite easy as well if you stay on top since there's quite a bit of material. Online quizzes can be confusing as hell at times and the wording threw me off a few times. Class participation is there to force you to lectures -- needed since all Mochnacki does is read off the damn slides. In fact since the 2nd lecture I stopped paying attention to what he says and do my own stuff in lectures and I still ended up with a 90, so this just goes to show how utterly useless the lectures were. I'm a fan of astronomy so I found the material to be quite interesting despite the lecturing, beware of the final exam though, alot of people got jipped apparently.
